Silvano d'Orba is a pretty little village situated in the hills at the foot of the mountains that form a natural border between the Piedmont region and Genoa's Mediterranean coast.
The village, in the Orba valley, is surrounded by woods and vineyards, and has fine views to other neighbouring medieval towns and hill-top castles.
The regional cuisine is incredibly rich and varied due to its’ location on the border between the mountains and the sea and between the hills and the lowlands.
We recommend to those visiting our traditional grappa factory that they stay for at least a couple of nights to enjoy the surroundings.
Moreover, Genoa, one of Italy’s most beautiful cities as well as being one of the most interesting ports in the Mediterranean sea, is not far away.
