Grappa-based liqueurs

There are many liqueurs which are based on our grappa and flavoured with home-produced blends of herbs, berries, plants and other natural flavourings.
The addition of these ingredients, and sometimes sugar, by law places them in the liqueur category, even if in their place of origin Alto Monferrato they are still considered to be grappa.
Many of the original recipes were invented by the legendary Bartolomeo Gualco (the wizard of grappa), who chose from his grandchildren Susanna Gualco as his successor, on account of her fine palate.
Susanna showed great competence and creativity in this field of production, meriting her international reputation as an excellent liqueur producer.
Today we produce many liqueurs and some of them come from the recipe book of  grandfather Marcello Soldatini, whose family once produced liqueurs in Genoa. Don't forget to taste the Amaro Soldatini !
